Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez Collection
Mr. dr. Moises Frumencio Da Costa Gomez, “Doktór” as he is affectionately called, was one of Curacao’s passionate advocate for autonomy and political emancipation. He was a firm believer of education from bottom up in order to stimulate political awareness, patriotism and national self-reliance. He can also be considered as the founding father of the University of the Netherlands Antilles.Nowadays the University of Curaçao Dr. Mr. Moised Frumencio da Costa Gomez.

Zikinzá Collection
During 6 years in the 1950’s and 60’s Father Brenneker and Elis Juliana recorded songs, pieces of music, stories and events of the elderly about the every day life on the island of Curaçao and Bonaire. In 1974 this cultural anthropological heritage collection has been transferred to the Zikinzá Foundation and in 2010 to the NAAM.

Caribbean Languages and Culture Platform
The Caribbean Languages and Culture Platform comprises of the University of Curaçao, the Fundashon di Papiamentu i Idioma and the University of Puerto Rico. Since 2006, they work together in yearly organising the ECICC conference and in the subsequent publication of two volumes of reviewed articles on the languages and culture of the Caribbean.

Palm Music Foundation Collection
This collection is dedicated to promote Dutch Antillean music and in particular the music of Jan Gerard Palm, one of the Caribbean's most prominent 19th century composers. He is often referred to as the "Father of Curaçao's classical music.Attention is also paid to other members of the Palm family such as Jan Gerard Palm's grandchildren Rudolf Th. Palm and Jacobo Palm.

Universiteit Leiden The Netherlands
In 2013 Leiden University Libraries became responsible for the collections of the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) and in 2014 for the collections of the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies (KITLV).
The Dutch Caribbean collections of KIT, KITLV and UBL were digitized in 2015-2016.
