Die overtuiging zal een waarborg voor onze onpartijdig-

hetgeen wij hierbij aan het publiek oordeel onderwerpen,
steunt op onwraakbare dokumenten. Door deze eene plaats
in ons geschrift te doen vinden, wordt een ieder in staat
gesteld over de juistheid onzer gevolgtrekkingen een zelf-
standig oordeel te vellen.
En last but not least, men moet het niet vergeten, Ego
staat van uit Curasao op de loer. Sedert Augustus heeft
hij verklaard ons op dit terrein te wachten en bereid te

Concession or Grant certain per centages therein mentioned of all
the net annuel profits and that the said Charles Brodie Sewell
might subject to the consent of the Company assign the said
Contract and all the benefit and advantage thereof to such persons

cession contemplated by the said agreement has not yet been
granted but tenders for the new Concession have been invited and
are required to be sent in at Curasao on or before the fifteenth

whereas steps have already been taken for forming a Company to
be called The Aruba Island Phosphate Company Limited as a Com-
pany Limited by Shares under the provisions of the Companies
Act 1862 and 1867 with a Capital of Twenty seven thousand
pounds and it is intended that one of the objects of the said
Company shall be declared to be the...”

3. In consideration of the Assignment contemplated by Clause 2.
and upon the execution of such Assignment by the said Charles
Brodie Sewell the Aruba Island Phosphate Company Limited will
pay to the said Charles Brodie Sewell the sum of Twenty one
thousand pounds which sum shall be satisfied by the allotment to
him or his nominees of Two thousand one hundred . fully .paid iip
shares of Ten pounds each in the Company.
4. This Agreement is conditional upon the formation of and
registration of the Aruba Island Phosphate Company Limited being
completed on or before the thirty first day of December One
thousand eight hundred and seventy eight.
5. The said Arthur Chaplin being a formal party only shall not
incur any personal responsibility of any kind whatever under this
Agreement.
