To a visitor from northern climes the scene is full of novelty, and it would be difficult to describe adequately its charm. The islands are covered with a mantle of vivid green grass, while the surrounding sea, on the other hand, is a deep cobalt blue which shows up the brilliant yellow Gulf weed floating on the surface (see page 29).
