chief of police should be obtained for the use
of the Government Rest Room at the police
barracks in Chateaubelair, where there is usually
accommodation for two or three persons, for
which a nominal charge is made. On arrival
at Chateaubelair, a guide and boys to carry
baggage should be secured, and arrangements
made for a boat to row as far as the Wallibou
River, from which point the ascent is begun.
Starting at sunrise on the following morning from
the Rest Room, the crater can be reached within
