Negro slaves became such that a new effort to bring them
the Christian faith could be ventured, and from that time
on the work of the Moravians made steady progress. They
did not stop at making conversion conquests, but did every-
thing to strengthen the positions, captured in the name of
the Christian faith, by social and cultural...”
