“...Consession or Grant of the
Phosphates and other similar products and deposits upon, in or
under the Island of Aruba belonging to the Dutch Government,
upon such terms as might be mutually agreed upon between the
Company and the said Government and that the said Charles
Brodie Sewell should provide and pay all expenses incidental to
such applications and that the said Charles Brodie Sewell should
have the option of working the concession and that he should in
such case use his best and utmost exertions to provide the working
Capital and do all such things as might be necessary to give effect
to the Concession or Grant by raising, working, exporting, selling
and disposing of the phosphates and other similar deposits and
products in the best markets and for the best prices and the
working and raising should be carried on in the most economical
manner and approved principals with a view to the realization
by Sale of the phosphates and other similar deposits and products
of the utmost practicable...”
