About Leiden University Caribbean Collection
In 2013 Leiden University Libraries (UBL) became responsible for the collections of the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) and in 2014 for the collections of the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies (KITLV).
The Dutch Caribbean collections of KIT, KITLV and UBL were digitized in 2015-2016.
This collection is made available through the Dutch Caribbean Digital Platform to further and optimise the use of the material in education, research and by the community of the Dutch Caribbean islands.
