Summary:
Organizational culture has been the focus of many researchers and management theories over the years, many cultural models and dimensions have been introduced by several researchers which play vital role in determining organizational performance. The main idea generated and implied with this research was the use of Hofstede Cultural Model and the Competing Value Framework in determining organizational effectiveness. The choice for a dualistic approach has been applied to gather more information about the variety of dominant cultural attributes within the organization and to be able to make more critical and reliable analyses. Over the years several studies have been conducted using these models to study the changes in culture of differences across regions and countries but no research have been conducted in national government organizations. This is what makes the findings of this study interesting. On the other hand the study can be used as a basis for further research on how to manage and implement culture changes for organizational effectiveness. ( Englisch )
